| Using pymol, the structure of SBP was analysed to determine the active site; that is the site that is carrying the Se atom. Furthermore Dali results were used to infer about the function using the proteins with high similarities and then combine with literature and PDB information to infer about the function.

| SABLE was used to determine the protein type of the SBP and, either soluble or membrane protein. PDBsum were used to observe the structures at secondary levels to determine the folding and disulphide bonds of the protein.
