Top 14 structurally related were all Kinases and some examples are:
• Thymidylate Kinase o Which catalyses reversible phosphorylation transfer from ATP & TMP to ADP & TDP. • Shikimate Kinase o Which catalyses reaction of phosphoryltransfer from ATP to shikimic acid and this is mainly found in plants. • Adenylate Kinase o Which catalyzes the production of ATP from ADP. • Dephospho-COA Kinase o Which is actually the DPCK domain of CoAsy, so it uses ATP as phosphate donor in phosphorylation of 3-hydroxy group of ribose in the COA synthesis pathway. | |
