Printing configuration

Go to: "Start" -> "settings" -> "Printers and faxes"

Choose "Add printer"

Choose "Local printer attached to this computer" (uncheck the "automatically detect and install..."

Choose "create a new port" and choose "Standar TCP/IP Port"

You will then have to specify the IP addresse: 172.23.213.43

The port name should be automaticcaly IP_172.23.213.43 but you probably can change it

Select "generic network card" and "next"

Then you have to specify the drivers:

choose the Manufacturer: "HP" and the Printer: "HP color Laser Jet 4650"

I didn't find "HP color Laser Jet 4650" on my computer so I had to download the correct driver on the HP website here. I choose the PS drivers, but I am not sure if it is better to choose PCL5 (or PCL6).

Once the driver is installed, you might do a few modifications:

Go to: "Start" -> "settings" -> "Printers and faxes", make it default (right click)

look at the properties (right click) Go to "device settings" and look for the "duplex unit" option: make it installed so that you can automatically print on both sides. Now choose the "general" tab choose preference, and choose the "finishing tab" and choose "print on both sides" as it is more convinient to print daily papers on both sides. Et voila! Now you can print some pretty good things :)
