We can observe from the graph that highest levels of fascin-1 are prsent in B-lymphoblasts which are immature cells which typically differentiate to form mature lymphocytes. B lymphocyte activation is accompanied by extensive membrane ruffling and pseudopod formation, which appears to be mediated by fascin (Tseng, 2001). | |||
